September 13, 2006 - 22:23 — civicrm

The current stable version of CiviCRM is 3.0. CiviCRM distributions are freely available for download from our SourceForge project download pages.

You will need to know which host Content Management software (CMS) you are using: Drupal or Joomla! or the Standalone Version (which uses OpenID for authentication and login). CiviCRM requires PHP5.2.x, PHP 5.3.x is currently NOT supported

EXAMPLE : civicrm-3.0.0-drupal.tar.gz
This file is version 3.0.0 for Drupal.

EXAMPLE : civicrm-3.0.0-joomla.zip
This file is version 3.0.0 for Joomla!.

Download CiviCRM from SourceForge

Installation Instructions

Check out the CiviCRM Installation Guide for more information.

CiviCRM Translations and Localization

If you want to run CiviCRM in a language other than U.S. English, you will also need to download the corresponding translations file (civicrm....l10n.tar.gz).

EXAMPLE : civicrm-3.0.0-l10n.tar.gz
This file has all currently available translations for version 3.0. The same translation file is used for both Drupal and Joomla.

Check out the Localisation Guide for info on how translations work, and the online translation tool for a listing of available translations. If you have questions about translation/localisation, please post them to our Internationalization and Localization Forum.
